JAMPRO Seeks Greater Support for Export Max

President of Jamaica Promotions Corporation (JAMPRO), Dian Edwards, is appealing for more private-sector companies to partner with the entity in executing the Export Max programme.
“We are encouraging more private-sector companies to come on board as sponsors, supporters and financial contributors to the programme to allow us to expand what we are currently doing for the next cohort,” she said.
Ms. Edwards was addressing a Think Tank held at the Jamaica Information Service (JIS) head office in Kingston on Friday (October 9).
Export Max III Launches Big Bro/Big Sister Mentorship Programme

In keeping with its mission of guiding local MSMEs on the path of becoming export-ready, Export Max III on Thursday, February 25, 2021, officially launched its Mentorship Programme. The initiative will be led by partner agency, Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association (JMEA). Export Max III is managed by the Jamaica Business Development Corporation (JBDC), Jamaica Promotions Corporation (JAMPRO) and the JMEA.
The Programme follows a Big Brother Big Sister Alliance for Export Growth concept and will facilitate a cohort of 49 mentee companies. These companies will be paired with mentors from established entities across various industries and sub-sectors groups.

Senator the Honourable Aubyn Hill has applauded JAMPRO, an agency of the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce, for winning the award for ‘Best Use of a Partnership’ from the World Trade Promotion Organisations for its Export Max III programme, the third iteration of this initiative. The announcement was made at the WTPO Conference and Awards held in Accra, Ghana on May 17-18, 2022.
Export Max II Companies Generate $1.7B in Earnings
